"Cool Links, plus New Jersey Area Links" is a non-commercial volunteer effort launched in 1998. Our mission is to maintain an index of our favorite web sites in a wide range of interesting and useful catagories, with special attention to New Jersey and Computing topics. Our chosen links are not sponsored in any way. The number of sites in each catagory is fairly small because we are including only our favorites: best content, best look and feel, and least ad clutter. A few less well-known but exceptional sites are awarded a "thumbs up" logo -- these are worth checking out. We include many links which bypass regular home pages and go directly to sections of particular interest. For example: the home improvement section of Move.com; the recipe section of cooking.com; the Conde Nast Traveler magazine; Zagat's New Jersey dining. Unfortunately, these "bypass" links are not intended to be accessed directly, and sometimes they go dead. We hope you enjoy our website. Peace and prosperity.
